A planet that can support life is the most wonderful and glorious thing in known existance and we are lucky to be the inhabitants of such a planet. As the intelligent inhabitants of a life sustaining planet I believe it is our job to make sure the planet will be safe for thousands of years to come.
The problems are many and the solutions to few but that doesnt mean that the problems we can solve be left for the next generation to deal with. Another plus is that people are aware of issues like overpopulation, top soil erosion, and depleting sources of fossil fuels more today than ever, and will be weary of any environmentally harmful technological advances. A way to have a completely clean and Eco friendly industry will soon be discovered but it is our duty to make sure the planet can survive until then.
So get out there and do something this Earth Day that will change the world for the better, even if it is just sharing information with others.
